As Principal of Coull & Prior, David leads the firm’s accounting and taxation services, providing practical advice and tailored solutions to individuals, families, and small to medium-sized businesses. He is a Registered Tax Agent and a distinguished member of the Institute of Public Accountants.

With more than 25 years of experience, David has developed extensive expertise in taxation, accounting and a wide range of business advisory services. He is committed to helping clients navigate complex tax and business matters with clear, straightforward advice that is both practical and easy to understand.

While David has always had a natural aptitude for numbers, the most rewarding part of his career is seeing clients leave with confidence and peace of mind. He enjoys building long-term relationships with business owners and takes pride in delivering solutions that help them achieve their personal and business goals.

Outside the office, David enjoys spending quality time with his wife, two children and their French Bulldog. He also has a passion for riding his motorcycle and cooking for family and friends.

Ellie is the newest Accountant at Coull & Prior. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service. She enjoys working closely with clients, taking the time to understand their goals and making the accounting process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

Before commencing her accounting career, Ellie worked in the airline industry in customer service and air traffic control. These roles developed her strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments, while reinforcing her passion for helping people.

Ellie has a genuine interest in taxation, problem-solving and analytical thinking and enjoys providing a range of taxation and compliance services. She takes pride in delivering accurate, timely advice while ensuring clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout the year.

Ellie holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Adelaide and is currently completing the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) Program.

Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and experiencing different cultures.
